*
Chapter 1 (Intro) -
2Victims: A zombie kid and his Boilbasaur.
-
*
Chapter 2 (We're Going Places) -
17Victims: We slaughter a bunch of zombie trainers, including the Levitating Legless Corpse and the infamous moment where Alice seduces a headless Houndour to re-death. There was also a guy that died of poison and another NPC that got chomped by the horde offscreen.
Mr. Briney got turned into a zombie too, so there he goes. I also count the lady that had her legs chopped off.
-
*
Chapter 3 (An Ace Takes Flight) -
23Victims: More zombies, except there's also the Demon Corpses and the evil severed heads. Eye-Eye will never stop being terrifying to me.
There was a Hiker that had been hollowed out and that's just plain disgusting. The infamous moment for me here is the Pikachu head on a pike. Like
jesus christ, that's morbid.
-
*
Chapter 4 (Pride and Pestilence) -
21Victims: Gleis had already killed four zombies before we reach him. Then there was that weird moment where a demon snail uses a guy's body for a shell or something, I dunno.
It doesn't explicitly say it, but there were two demons and their Anoriths that Gleis summons. I like to imagine we straight up brutalized them back into hell.
Elise the Cut Man's daughter
disintegrates, so that's fun. We also get to kill three of Pestilence's Pokemon. Then there was a dead guy who we steal a Magikarp from.
There was an especially disgusting bit where a man had his brains scooped out, so I'd rather move on please.
-
*
Chapter 3.5 (Gameshark Fun) -
0Victims: Nobody, thankfully. We were about to be on the receiving end of it if we stayed to fight the level 58 Zombie Scizor, though.
-
*
Chapter 5 (The Dragon King) -
2Victims: Two of King Meteor's Dragon servants, if only because of how hard Ambes hit them with Ice Punch.
-
*
Chapter 6 (Seaside Trouble) -
4Victims: Screw Kingmadio, we poisoned it to death. There were also the victims of the Former Chefs and that one Hombone Bellamine blasted into nothing after her Calm Mind boost.
(The Chefs run away, so I don't count them.)
-
*
Chapter 7 (Nobody Expects the Hoenn Inquisition) -
12Victims: We bury a pair of zombies and four of their Pokemon to save a guy. There was a corpse in Mauville that had his head filled with sand or something, and then there were at
least five fatalities when Chloe showed up (two zombies, two zombie pokemon and one Chef)
-
*
Chapter 8 (A Traitor Among Our Ranks) -
1Victims: Poor Wilfred didn't deserve this.
-
*
Chapter 9 (Tomorrow is Mine) -
5Victims: Another pair of zombies and their annoying Substitute+Leech Seed strategy. There was also a severed head.
-
*
Chapter 10 (The Art of Lunacy) -
0Victims: Nothing physical, but my sanity definitely died.
-
*
Chapter 11 (Into the Rabbit Hole) -
0Victims: There was a lot of fighting, but none of it was really life-threatening. Mostly because it was with normal people and not zombies.
-
*
Chapter 12 (Famine's Desert) -
8Victims: Backstory death for the Broken Heart lady. Ace chopped up a Troll's Pineco and there was also the guy that was slowly dying before we met him.
We also wasted the Pokemon of some frost demons that got in the way.
-
*
Chapter 13 (His Worthiness) -
0Victims: Nobody got murdered this episode! Hurray.
-
*
Chapter 14 (The Horseman of War) -
17Victims: Zangol decapitates a Chef the instant the chapter starts. We get to mow down a crowd of zombies and Eye-Eyes in Route 113 - cathartic.
We also get to waste all of Alicia's Pokemon, but the Horsemen themselves just get teleported back to hell. Lame.
-
*
Chapter ?? (Season of the Jack) -
3Victims: Sure, it may be the Halloween Special and completely non-canon to the actual series, but there's still dead old men.
The guy in the cemetery that's like "I must kill you demon!!" still cracks me up, especially when he goes "AAAAAAA"
. It's simultaneously disturbing and funny to see the playable character straight up
eat him.-
*
Chapter 15 (Psychic Dragon Egg?) -
11Victims: There was an apocalyptic log where at least three guys were killed in Usher's Submarine... fun. Aside from that, a whole lot of zombie killing.
(I count Gorelaxes as two-in-one due to the actual Snorlax and the Chef that bursts out of its chest)
-
*
Chapter 16 (Nonstop Battle Drama) -
10Victims: Another zombie massacre, although I should mention the Battle Zombies don't really go down with their Pokemon counterparts.
-
*
Chapter 17 (Rage Awakened) -
5Victims: There was one Battle Zombie that slipped on his fluids and broke his head, while the other two deaths were a severed head and the ghost lady that gave us the Dispell Toke. (
Some say Reggie is still taking a hit of it to this day.)
Also - Juno is a Shuppet that originally used to be an Absol, so I have to add her even if she is on our team. The same thing for Menti because she was a normal Marill before she got zombified.
-
*
Chapter 18 (Witch Hunt) -
24Victims: Every single witch and their Pokemon in the route gets burned down thanks to Jeanne and the guys. Also, Winona was explicitly said to have died off-screen.
That sucks.
-
*
Chapter 19 (Like A Roaring Flame) -
5Victims: We put zombie Winona and her Pokemon down for good.
-
*
Chapter 20 (Madness Unleashed) -
13Victims: We fight a man who became a Lost Soul in the Madio Caves, but the real majesty of this chapter is the guy with A Monster. The sick bastard sewed together eleven Pokemon into a Frankenstein-esque creature.
The extra death was when Jeanne and Bellamine actually killed A Monster, although that's putting it out of its misery more than anything.
-
*
Chapter 21 (Dragon King's Blessing) -
5Victims: Tones gets killed by God (Arceus?) when he talks shit about His drinking skills.
Dragon Hun and Dragon Visigoth eat like four guys (two Footmen, two zombies) while you're fighting Chloe. That's pretty brutal.
-
*
Chapter 22 (The Dark One) -
20Victims: A lot of the ones in here are the zombies you fight on the way to Senex. I was about to include Asimov, but then I remembered he doesn't actually die at all.
There was a fat guy corpse... Wonderful.
Three of the Elite Four were killed off screen and I don't like it, no sir.
-
*
Chapter 23 (On Top of The World) -
4Victims: There was a Lost Soul lady and an old woman who gives us an actual Broken Heart. In terms of fighting, Ballin eats a Radiorange and we get to poison another Kingmadio.
-
*
Chapter 24 (Sewer of My Dreams) -
5Victims: There were three Lost Souls stuck in the Lilycove Sewers. We get captured in the Necropolis, but we still beat up the guard despite him having level 100 zombie Pokemon.
I'll always be proud of that, by the way.
-
*
Chapter 25 (Jack and the Mirror of Fate) -
0Victims: None. The fights in this one were strictly sport, so no real bloodshed happened.
-
*
Chapter 26 (Forget, Let Them Forget) -
13Victims: We break into Norman's ruined gym and take out everybody inside, including a zombified Norman and his Pokemon.
-
*
Chapter 27 (The Mine of Madness) -
2Victims: Jack reveals what Esau is a reference to, shattering him. Rayquaza is revealed to have been killed off screen... which still gives me a migraine.
-
*
Chapter 28 (A Comedy of Errors) -
16Victims: We storm the Necropolis and sweep through the army inside. At least one of these is a wild encounter zombie. (I also count the severed heads held by the Headslingers)
The only other death in here is Ivory... sure, she's on our side, but she gave her life to save Shine and Spark. That's the most noble sacrifice you could make as an older sister.
-
*
Chapter 29 (Breaking Point) -
21 + ??Victims: One final round of zombie killing action complete with the crew totaling Senex's team. The Hoenn region gets destroyed at one point, but everyone comes back instantly, so... I don't think I can count that.
-
*
Chapter 30 - Finale (To Greener Pastures) -
2Victims: A cute little Shinx eats a Blitzle in Fort Draco's day care... meanwhile, we summon Turmur just to destroy it.
-
*
Chapter 31 (Heir of Darkness) -
15 - 1Victims: Two Darkmons get wasted at the start of the chapter, but Darugis creates two more that wind up squashing five zombies on the overworld. Gleis, Senex's zombie Pokemon and the Darkmons get taken out by Jack's Crew, but it's Darugis that winds up dusting Senex for good.
I'm subtracting one because Mani brings Menti back to life, so yay.
