| It's been about five years since the defeat of Lysandre at the hands of a young upstart trainer. This trainer, strung along by circumstance, found themselves in the midst of a plot spanning 3000 years. The leader of Team Flare, obsessed with beauty and perfection, studied the trials and tribulations of an ancient king of Kalos, and rediscovered the machine he had used both to revive his beloved and to end a war.
He modified that machine, and with the power of the Life Pokemon Xerneas, nearly ended the entire world. However, that upstart trainer freed Xerneas, and both the weapon and Team Flare's base of operations came crumbling down. Only one casualty was recorded – that of the man himself, crushed under his own hubris.
The trainer quietly moved on, defeating the Champion, becoming Champion themselves, and fading happily into obscurity. Lysandre was dead, Team Flare in fragments. Kalos was at peace. Or so everyone liked to believe. The Elite Four member, Malva, worked in secret to bring a team back together, supposedly under the banner that Lysandre was not truly dead. In spite of this, however, they laid low.
That's not to say the entire world was at peace. During those five years, a long and terrible war erupted in the regions far away from Kalos, starting first in Kanto. There, a man named Lance had long served as the enduring Champion of the region, with his circle of Elite Four members. He was driven to eradicate all members of the organization known as Team Rocket for his vision of 'good', and built an army in secret. The two teams battled fiercely, a chronicle of tales best saved for another time, but his troops were able to overwhelm Team Rocket's, and soon spread into Johto, driving the regions into Martial Law under his draconian fist.
Anyone suspected of collaborating with a Rocket was captured, leading to the kidnapping and imprisonment of thousands of innocents. Unimpeded thanks to the fear of the general public, he soon stormed into Hoenn. The members of Team Magma and Team Aqua found no respite from his advancing peril, as the army, Team Lindwyrm, supposedly allied with the third organization in the region. This team, Team Aether, began as a mediating force in the Hoenn region, dedicated to preserving old myths and ensuring no one ever revived the Super-Ancient Pokemon again much like the legendary revered by their Draconid leader. In truth, that leader too was imprisoned, and a figurehead put in her place to do Lance's bidding.
In Sinnoh, the scientific minds of Team Galactic were stolen away and forced to research the summoning of Arceus. There, as the escapees took secret refuge in the Underground and planned resistance, Lance's true plans came to light. Though he presented his atrocities as a 'cleansing of evil', he truly aimed to remove his opposition when the time came that he would summon Arceus and eradicate all humans, leaving only himself and Pokemon.
This resistance came to its head with the arrival to Sinnoh of a Rocket Executive and a force of escaped captives. They warned N's Team Plasma in Unova, and they warned Malva's fledgeling Neo Team Flare in Kalos. They were not allotted much time to converge, this union of 'villains', but during this time of shaky alliance, Lance launched the final leg of his plan.
The Great Battle of the Underground was bloody, and terrible. The agents of Team Lyndwyrm sieged the Underground, and blood was spilt both innocent and not as Lance prepared to summon Arceus with the great sacrifice. In their hour of need, a great Kalosian army advanced upon Sinnoh, and bolstered the forces of the Resistance. It was helmed by none other than Malva herself, enraged that this pretender would dare make such a vicious mockery of Team Flare's designs. Meanwhile, the Rocket Executive and a companion, a dragon whisperer, fought him directly at the site of the summoning. In the end, it was Lance's own dragon who bit off his head.
It's been five years since the defeat of Lysandre, and two years since the Battle of the Underground. The four Far-Eastern Regions have been slowly rebuilding from the devastation, with the aid of the Rocket Executive and her alliance. But there have been rumors of new troubles stirring in Kalos as of late.

It only took two children to start a plague. Two Youngsters, warned against playing in the rubble of the Team Flare Base, adamantly approached the stony pit in the ground. The rumors that it was haunted surely couldn't be true, right?
“I dare you to go in there.” One boy, older and larger, said to the other with a smug smirk.
“No way! What if we get caught?”
“No one comes out this time of night, they're all scared of the ghost that's supposed to be here.”
“O-okay... well... I double dare you to do it!”
“Triple dare you.”
“Triple dog dare you!”
The older boy grimaced. The hierarchy of dares dictated that he on the receiving end of the Triple Dog Dare had to do it, else be mocked for his entire school career. So it was that every Schoolkid and Youngster knew, you didn't issue a Triple Dog Dare unless you were serious. He slipped down into the rubble, and disappeared into the rocks.
The younger boy waited, and waited, what seemed like forever, until he heard a bone-chilling scream. Perhaps out of instinct, he jumped into the pit himself, and vaulted over rocks until he reached his companion.
Or rather, what was left of him.
What the youngster was greeted with was a fleshy pulp of bone fragment and tissue oozing slowly out of the rocky prison that it must have apparently been slumbering beneath, slowly enveloping the older boy. Three empty poke balls lay strewn around him, the last vestiges of fur and scale barely noticeable among the mass. The boy's head slowly dissipated into the horrid being, leaving the younger paralyzed with fear. Without knowing what else to do, the Youngster released his team upon the beast – A Bunnelby, a Skiddo, and a Fennekin.
Their attacks were not enough to slake the assault of the fleshbound beast, as the Bunnelby was absorbed first, much as the older boy had been. The Skiddo fared only slightly better, but soon it too was overcome. The Youngster and his Fennekin, on seeing the death of their team, ran fast as they could over the rubble.
But only the Fennekin escaped, by singing the beast's tendrils and running far, far away.
The Youngster, on the other hand, tripped and fell on his way out of the pit, and he cried out in fear as it began to envelop him. He felt the moist, uncomfortably warm flesh tighten around him, and start worming its way under his skin. He felt it break him down to the very core as it rose up his body. As his vision went dark, he felt it seep past his scalp, dig into his skull, and dissolve his brain. The youngster was no more, soaked into an amalgam of meat and parts.

The event that Kalosians would come to know as the Flesh Plague soon spread beyond its binding as others came to search for the two missing boys. They too would be taken into its gestalt entity, which soon spread over Geosenge Town like a membranous tent, pulsing and writhing. It preyed upon curious wild Pokemon, and the foolish trainers who tried to fight it. Of them, only those with Fire-types were able to survive to bring word to Lumiose City.
By the time the evacuation of Lumiose was ordered, the being once known as Lysandre and now known the Flesh Plague had consumed not only Geosenge, but the next two towns over. That, however, also attracted the attention of Neo Team Flare, who marched into battle led by none other than Malva. Their forces, with their heavy reliance on Fire, were able to carve a quickly-recovered path to the heart of the beast, where Malva hoped to reason with whatever might have been left of Lysandre at its core.
The Flesh Plague, however, no longer had a mind to reason with. Long ago was Lysandre's mind gutted to but a shell of baser instinct and desire. Consume. Subsume. Eradicate the non-beautiful. Within the Plague, what once was a beautiful little town had become more akin to walking into the heart of an unspeakable eldritch monstrosity, as the membranes covering the sky, stretched over massive, stitched together ribs, dripped with blood and viscera upon her.
She, too, was nearly consumed by the beast, only barely escaping into one of the few homes that remained undesecrated. Desperate, her Pokemon battled off the Plague from the entrances, while Malva herself was left with no other choice than to call upon old allies from the Great War in the Far-Eastern Regions. As she had loaned them her strength, she hoped they would be able to loan her theirs.
Even now, the Plague continues to expand by way of the wildlife. To make matters worse, it appears to have developed the ability to drop off parts of itself and command them as though they were still a part of the entity, perhaps by way of the absorption of Psychic-types. These beings carry the power to absorb the living just as their progenitor does, and know any number of Pokemon attacks, to top it off. To attack one physically without the aid of flame would be suicide.
Truly, things look dire for the Kalos region. Their last hope rests with the allies summoned by Malva, and those stubborn residents who wish to band with them to save their region. The plan is a long-shot, but backed up by the events of five years ago. Back then, Team Flare was not only able to document the whereabouts of Xerneas. Indeed, they also held the knowledge of where the legendary Pokemon of Destruction, Yveltal, sleeps, waiting to awaken to this day to absorb the life force of some great and terrible being. As well, something deep and ancient grows restless within Terminus Cave, so they say...
You are one of the heroes hunting for Yveltal and fighting back the Flesh Plague under the banner of Malva's summoned ally from the War, the Boss of Team Rocket. Whether you are a veteran of the Great War, or a Kalosian wishing to save their home, you now face down an insidious threat perhaps greater than Lance ever was. The risk of death along these odds is constant, as the Flesh Plague is ever-spreading and knows no discrimination.

Age: 27 Gender: Female Appearance:  Personality: Azurra is an interesting sort. Her primary interests seem to mostly have to do with clothesmaking and fashion, but she is open and friendly and fancies herself a good leader. Despite this, however, she is a bit... quirky, in a way, and sometimes doesn't quite understand social cues. Prefers stealing from the rich, rather than the poor. History: Azurra began her career in Team Rocket as a rising star from Johto with naught but a Ralts and a Cyndaquil to her name, very charismatic and charming, using her odd quirks and mannerisms to her advantage. She was always known as unusual, with her bright eyes that seemed to glow in the darkness, and the way the shadows seemed to shift around her, but none could deny that she was good at what she did. By the time of the outbreak of the Great War, she was an Executive, who was captured in the Battle of Viridian City. As she was loaded onto a truck and carted off to her eventual prison, she was forced to watch as Lance himself beheaded Giovanni in front of a frightened crowd. From that moment, she swore that somehow, some way, she would escape and bring the tyrant down, no matter how far she had to travel to do it. Her escape came, after weeks of torture and starvation, with the arrival of a young woman who would later become her right hand. A potent physical fighter, the young woman beat down the guards bringing her into the cell Azurra waited in, and unlocked her from her chains. They and the rest of the prisoners raided the jail, stole back their Pokemon, and escaped. From there, she led her band across the regions, dispatching prisons along the way and amassing an army of former captives. She and her right hand fought Lance directly in the Battle of the Underground as the army of captives fought his men, and together the two of them slayed him by convincing his maligned Dragonite to bite his head off. Since then, she's taken the reigns as 'Boss', and championed the rebuilding of Kanto with Team Rocket's own funds as well as those funds she drained from the Indigo League shortly before it was found by an international tribunal to be corrupt to the point of global endangerment. However, she also vowed to never let an event so terrible come to pass, whether in Kanto or not, again. She didn't particularly count on being summoned by any of her old war allies, but when Malva summoned her, she set sail for Kalos without a second thought. She is the leader of the charge which aims to wipe out the Flesh Plague. Personality: An energetic and athletic girl with a lot of underlying anxiety, Zora seems to have taken her role in the war in stride. She's protective of her friends and family to an almost absurd degree, and will happily jump in front of a bullet to save them. One notable thing that's changed is that she seems to enjoy calm and quiet much more than she used to, and has much stronger reading comprehension.
History: Zora was a hobbyist trainer, having passively bulked up her Pokemon for a good number of years. By the time the War broke out, she could keep up with the rest of them, and still can, although she's still not an active trainer. During the Great War, she hid with her family in Viridian Forest, in a treehouse near an old, supposedly-enchanted cavern. That treehouse was raided one day, and Zora was captured by Team Lindwyrm for 'possession of marijuana with the intent to sell in Team Rocket's name', no matter how much she insisted it was her own medication.
She was brought off to a remote prison camp with no idea what happened to her family, but refused to take it sitting down, beating her guards to a pulp and enabling the others in the cell she was being taken to to escape. one of those people was Azurra Sullivan, an executive of Team Rocket. Though hesitant at first, Zora became determined to become the anathema of everything Lindwyrm wanted so she could save her family, and stood at the Executive's side through the war. During the Battle of the Underground, she earned the name Dragon Whisperer as she turned Lance's team against him.
After the War ended, she became Azurra's trusted Executive, though no one knows it just from looking at her, and she certainly doesn't act like it. Most of the time, she is usually found just doing what she always does. Though she can be seen dressing nicer and carrying herself better than before, this can easily be attributed to the rich publisher she is often seen hanging around at home. In fact, if one looks closely, they might see a platinum band on her left ring finger.
She came to Kalos at her boss's behest.

Personality: Though Katarina can appear somewhat outwardly cold, those who observe her at work see that she's a very caring and passionate individual even in spite of her eerily calm demeanor. Has an intense passion for internal medicine, in particular surgery.
History: Katarina and her twin sister were orphaned at a very young age, and adopted by a Kalosian woman and her wife, who had two children already from a prior relationship. The wife turned out to be one of the last of a race of people called the Draconids, native to the Hoenn region, who worshipped and served Rayquaza over all other Legendary Pokemon. When the events of the Third Generation came to pass, that Draconid became dedicated to keeping balance over Hoenn as Lord Rayquaza did to the Super-Ancient Pokemon.
The rest of the family were sent on the run after the Draconid and her two biological kids were captured in the Great War. They found refuge in their mother's homeland of Kalos, where they and their war veteran bretheren have lived ever since, in the quiet town of Geosenge.
When the Flesh Plague erupted and began to spread, the people of Geosenge ran in fear, the LeClaires included. However, not all escaped unscathed. Katarina is noted as one of the very few who escaped the Plague after being touched by it, by way of being cut free from its grasp by her Chandelure. However, it had already seeped into her, leaving her with a very unique power and a very unique dilemma.
By way of having escaped the Plague as she did, Katarina has been granted an abnormal, even disturbing degree of control over flesh and bone, able to shape it as if it were clay. However, that same power also gives her a sort of 'pull' - The Flesh Plague can sense her as an Amalgamate, and seeks to return her to the gestalt entity. Should she ever go near the Amalgam, it will seek her out almost to the exclusion of all else.
She joins the heroes, knowing what may happen to her, seeking primarily to accompany their quest to bring Zygarde from hiding.

History: Natela was a quiet woman from the Pokemon equivalent of Turkey, who left out of necessity at a young age when her best friend fell terminally ill. They felt the bigger regions would hold more chance of said friend's survival, so the three of them - Natela, her lover and the ill friend - settled in Kalos. They battled that illness for many years, but the poor friend eventually succumbed to it, as it had grown too severe. Natela's Heliolisk is named in their honor.
After they died, her lover opened a small store specializing in the occult in Lumiose City, while Natela chose instead to take her nursing talents to the military. During that time, she saw plenty of service, as she was deployed to aid with 'evil team' problems in nearby regions. She was deployed to the far-Eastern regions during the Great War, but by the time the Kalosian Army had arrived, no matter which side they would have fallen on, the battle was already over.
She lived in Lumiose when the flesh Plague broke out, and was immediately sent off to Ambrette to be a member of the protection teams the army was forming in each town. Unfortunately, they found themselves inadequately equipped for what came for them, and as Natela was sent to meet with the reinforcements from other regions, Ambrette was consumed by the Plague.

He has a hot and cold relationship with violence, as he's seen enough of it during the war, but also doesn't have a problem kicking your teeth in if you're just begging for it. History: At first, Kaj wanted nothing to do with all the fighting. But that was until Team Lindwyrm came knocking on his doorstep in Hoenn. He fled to the Underground in Sinnoh where he met up with his future wife, Luna. The two fought in the Battle of the Underground, and miraculously both made it out alive. Believes in doing things for the sake of science. History: Konoko used to work as a scientist in Sinnoh until she and the lab she worked for was overtaken by Team Lindwyrm. She was then forced to conduct experiments on humans and Pokemon alike to advance Lance's plans. When Team Lindwyrm was finally defeated, she simply got up and left in order to continue her science elsewhere. While she didn't agree morally with the experiments she did while working for Team Lindwyrm, she doesn't feel guilty about it, knowing that it was necessary to survive. Well, she secretly enjoyed the resulting data from her old experiments, realizing that the information may never have been obtained if she wasn't allowed to conduct immoral experiments. | May as well get this party underway.  Name: Luna Teracruz Age: 19 Gender: Female Appearance:  Personality: A perky girl with a lot of vigor, she loves exploring and walks on the beach. Regarding Pokemon training, she likes to fight with her favorites and is very rival-like regarding opponents who are stronger than her. Due to being a Hex Maniac, she loves ghosts and dark stuff and oftenly visits the Memoire Tower to talk with the ghosts over there. Holds the deepest amount of respect for her father and mother, and sees Serra as a "big sister" despite not being blood related. She also loves to tease Allen and treats him like a member of the family. However, despite Luna's outgoing nature, she takes after both of her parents to become a more stern, no-nonsense character if the situation calls for it. History: A Hex Maniac born in Kalos, Luna is the child of husband-and-wife Frontier Brain pair George and Mercedes. They've raised her up to be an excellent trainer/worker ever since she was a young girl, with her first Pokemon being a Pumpkaboo known today as Victoria. Ever since then, Luna has traveled across the whole region multiple times, first accompanied by her parents, but now by herself or with her best friend/housemate Serra. However, the sudden appearance of the flesh amalgamate taking over Kalos has forced her to retreat back to Aurum Island along with her parents - where she and the others plan on how to drive back the abomination. -Species: Braixen
-Gender: Male
-Appearance: Shiny but also wears a black coat, a black collar and sunglasses. Is also a foot taller than normal Braixen, standing at 4 feet tall.
-Personality: The regular class clown and a jackass with a heart of gold. He is against the idea of evolving to Delphox due to enjoying his youth as a Braixen, hence why he keeps an Everstone on his person at all times. He is also an incredible showoff with a lot to prove, especially regarding anything with Ronove the Noivern or the other older, more experienced Pokemon. Despite this, they share a healthy mentor-tutor relationship. He admires Beowulf and accidentally calls him "Dad" sometimes based on his own father.

-History: Originally the Fennekin child of a Zoroark and Delphox family in the wild. He met Luna while she was out looking for new Pokemon and asked his parents if he could stay with her. They accepted the offer and let Daniel go as long as he was able to meet with his parents.

-Appearance: Normal
-Personality: He is serious, along with being the most concerned with Luna's well-being. He and Daniel have a strained relationship as the latter tends to get into ego measuring contests with him, but Ronove laughs it off as he doesn't really care. He is the most fatherly of the team along with Juno and does the best that he can to boost morale.
-Level: 60
-History: Luna encountered Ronove as a Noibat in the Terminus Cave.

-Appearance (Normal): The tips of her body are painted royal-blue. She also has Banettite attached to a white collar.
-Appearance (Mega): Instead of a pink body under her clothes, she has a navy-blue body.
-Personality: The strict and motherly member of Luna's bunch, Juno cares for everybody in the same way as Ronove. She oftenly jumps in to stop things from getting worse but doesn't have the calm demeanor that Ronove has, so she freaks out a bit more. She has the sharpest intellect out of everyone in Luna's team due to being the primary debuffer.

-History: Luna found a Shuppet during a trip to Mt. Pyre and that's pretty much all you need to know.

-Appearance: Super-size Gourgeist with red highlights painted on her hair.
-Personality: Energetic and quirky, Victoria is the fluffiest of Luna's entire team. She's also sort of a sadist if you catch her on her bad side, so be careful.

-History: Is the first Pokemon Luna ever caught by herself, back when she was like... 13 or so.

-Species: Mawile
-Gender: Female
-Appearance (Normal): The tips of her bangs are colored purple, and has an orange bow tied to the mouth thing growing out the back of her head.
-Appearance (Mega): Same.
-Personality: Regal and a bit of a spoiled noblewoman-type. Eliza touts herself as the queen of Luna's team and loves to tease the others by asking ridiculous things from them. While cold at first due to being the stranger of the team along with some bad history before being recruited by Luna, Eliza grew to love the other Pokemon and would do anything to protect her new trainer. Prefers to lie if asked if she lived anywhere before the Glittering Cave.
-Level: 65
-History: A Mawile that lived in the Glittering Cave after Team Flare drove her away from her owner. Luna had encountered Eliza after chasing an Emolga that stole her Mawilite. Eliza had joined forces with Luna to find said Emolga but they hadn't gotten far since then.
-Name: Scarlet
-Species: Aegislash
-Gender: Female
-Appearance: Shiny with a rectangular handle as opposed to the conical one of normal Aegislash. Has a blue ribbon tied on her handle.
-Personality: Scarlet is the nervous and eager type. She wants to help Luna or the others at every possible turn, but is a bit cowardly. Scarlet sees Juno as her closest mother figure and would fight to the death (undeath?) to protect the others from certain doom.
-Level: 59
-History: Luna decided to go shiny-hunting one day and she spent an entire week in the garden before the Parfum Palace looking for shiny Honedge. Eventually, her efforts paid off and she found Scarlet. To this day, Scarlet gets hot flashes and horrible visions of things she doesn't remember experiencing, but she shrugs them off.

He puts a lot on his shoulders and when he sees a person that's burdened with something, he jumps to help. Ever since he was a kid, he's had dreams of becoming one of the best Pokemon Trainers out there so he doesn't have to bask in the shadow of his parents' fame. Hasn't exactly thought about what he'd do after that, but hey, he's young. Sees Luna as an irreplacable friend and gets gaga-eyed at the sight of Serra. Stiffens up whenever he encounters George or Mercedes due to being intimidated by them. History: Allen was born in Sinnoh as the son of a famous vigilante hero couple called the Masked Roses. He's spent a lot of time building up his talents until he and his parents sat down in Kalos for a few years. In that time, he met Luna and her family. They became the best of friends while Allen familiarized himself with her parents and Serra. -Appearance: Normal
-Personality: A conniving Togekiss that loves to mess around with everyone, regardless of who they are. She does so because she's not afraid of anybody, even if they might be stronger than her. Despite this, she's one of the sweetest members of Allen's team as she loses her mind every time she sees a Pokemon that she thinks is cute.
-Level: 60
-History: Allen's first Pokemon, given to him as an egg by his mother and one of the few Pokemon he's raised himself.
-Name: Candelabra
-Species: Chandelure
-Gender: Female
-Appearance: Every fire but the one on her head burns with dark red fire.
-Personality: Boastful, for sure. Candy's a fighter through and through, and even though she has a sweet side, she'd still tear you apart. She can't tolerate kids getting hurt, and jumps straight into the fray just to protect them. She loves to check up on Luna's team once in a while just to see how they're progressing.

-History: Obtained in a trade between Allen and Luna once.
-Name: Ambes
-Species: Raichu
-Gender: Male
-Appearance: Normal.
-Personality: A meek and kind-hearted Raichu that prefers to not fight unless absolutely necessary. Both admires and is afraid of his older sister, and oftenly encourages the team as moral support.
-Level: 65
-History: Was one of two Pichu siblings that his father raised. Ambes was given to Allen whereas the older sister was trained under his father.
-Name: Sigurd
-Species: Lucario
-Gender: Male
-Appearance (Normal / Mega): Wears a navy blue jacket, but other than that, pretty normal. Has Lucarionite attached to a black belt strapped around his waist.
-Personality: The most level headed of Allen's team, and also the most "don't screw around with". He takes his job seriously, and that's beating up whoever gets in his way. Also has some feelings for Beatrice the Roserade that he never admits. Sees Zero the Blaziken as his eternal rival.
-Level: 70
-History: Originally a mortally wounded Riolu that Monica found and nursed back to health. While he originally hated being taken care of humans due to wanting to be free, he grew to love the Solux family and figured that they might not be so bad. Sigurd was then given to Allen as a way to improve his skills as a trainer.
-Name: Beatrice
-Species: Roserade
-Gender: Female
-Appearance: Has blue eyes and her body is a darker green.
-Personality: A tomboy that loves to brawl like Candelabra. Very much aware that Sigurd has a crush on her, but doesn't return his advances. Scoffs endlessly at her older brother Baroque's stage persona but loves him to a fault.
-Level: 65
-History: One of two Roselia siblings that the Masked Roses took their namesake from. Beatrice is the younger sister of the two, and was given to Allen by his mother to see how well he would perform as a Masked Rose member.

-Appearance: Wears some black ninja clothes, but isn't shiny himself.
-Personality: Quiet most of the time. When he does talk, it's usually to teach someone a lesson or because he found something funny. He silently takes notes of Allen's progress as a trainer and judges him on his character.

-History: Used to be a member of his father's team until he was given to Allen to improve his skills as a trainer.

She's level headed regardless of what happens and takes her duties as a mechanist seriously. Julia is firm around kids and actively tries to better them despite being pretty harsh at times. She feels content being around her Zangoose Valor and cracks jokes with him from time to time. History: A currently unemployed mechanist from Unova who traveled to Kalos as part of a vacation. Julia was born without a right arm and grew up with an interest in machines. Her dream was to be able to help others like her and was hell bent on learning how. -Personality: Fowl-mouthed, but with a good heart. He values his raw strength and is kind of bad with girls. Sees his friendship with Julia as invaluable.

-History: The first Pokemon Julia had ever received as a gift from his father. Julia had won him over by wrestling him into submission.
-Name: Glamor (nickname) / Iris
-Species: Android Lopunny possessed by a Rotom
-Gender: Female
-Appearance (Lopunny): Has a shiny gray body with dark pink eyes, segmented chest with a heart symbol on it and dark indigo eyebrows/"hair". She wears a heart locket that has a picture of her and a young woman inside of it.
-Appearance (Rotom): Like a normal Rotom but has red eyes.
-Personality: Flamboyant and showmanship-obsessed. Glamor loves to make a show out of everything and craves for a crowd. In reality, Glamor is down to earth and prefers to take things slow. She is kind and attentive to her fans, especially children and the like. She loves Julia with all of her heart and loves to tease.
-Level: 70
-History: Glamor was originally known as Iris, a beloved idol singer's Lopunny. One day, however, the lights malfunctioned during a show and crushed both Iris and her trainer - electrocuting them to death.
Not long afterward, Iris's soul was reborn as a Rotom and wandered without aim... That is, until she met Julia. Julia agreed to build her a new body out of both sympathy and to test her skills at building robots. Ever since then, Iris took on the name "Glamor" as a way to forget about the past.

-Personality: A petty, sharp-tongued megalomaniac with a thirst for power. He delights in driving everybody insane but was intrigued by Julia enough to the point of joining her. Considers the others "squares" and hits on Glamor just to annoy her.

-History: Alpha was a Magnemite that Julia had run into while conducting some tests with Steel type Pokemon. He had been following her for a while and had been observing her skills as a trainer. When challenged by Valor, Alpha goes to Julia's side without a fight due to recognizing that he couldn't stand a chance against them.

-Gender: Male
-Appearance: Normal
-Personality: Quick-witted and a prankster to heart. He is the youngest of the team and prefers to joke around more than any real work. Despite this, he loves to rise up to the challenge and prides himself on being a good leader. Has a giant crush on Glamor.

-History: Spark was originally a trio of wild Pokemon that went around pranking humans. One of their recent targets was Julia, but she had intercepted them and had Valor teach them a lesson. Spark and his friends vowed to make it up to her and joined her as a result.

-Appearance: Normal
-Personality: A shy and reserved Shedinja that acts like a ninja to seem cool. He loves sneaking up on people and looks up to Julia despite being intimidated by her. Loves Spark and Carmille like a brother and sister.

-History: One of the trio of wild Pokemon that were intent on pranking humans. He was humbled by Julia and Valor's strength and followed her out of respect.

-Personality: Carmille tries to act prim and proper, but is a vicious fighter at the same time. When not in “battle mode”, she is the kindest and the of the three. She prides herself on acting like a good role model and tries to keep the other two in line. While relatively calm and collected, her love of pranks and her temper can get the best of her.

-History: Is the most headstrong and the oldest of the trio, as the two boys (Spark and Shadow) don’t know where she came from or how long she’s been around. She was humbled by Julia's strength and joined her out of admiration.

Is always in the mood for a good battle and loves to challenge himself. He's also Luna's father, and proud of her due to how much of a hard worker she is. That's not even getting into what he thinks about his wife - they've met twenty or so years ago and their relationship is still romantically strong. He has little to be afraid of as he's lived in the wild for several years, and is harsh to people to make them more responsible. History: A man hailing from Unova, he's an experienced survivalist who's trained himself to live in the wild with the essentials and his Zorua, Beowulf. One day during a storm, he and Beowulf fought a wild Pidgeot and all of them came out with battle scars. George in particular lost an eye and had to go to the hospital, but gained an eyepatch and a new Pidgeot friend. It was also there that he met the love of his life, Mercedes, as she occasionally met him while looking for exotic Unovan flowers for bouquet ideas. They settled down in Aurum after George recovered and took in Serra before having a child of their own. Today, George and his family are working with other people in order to defeat the flesh abomination. Pokemon team:  - Spoiler:

-Gender: Male
-Appearance: Clad in a dark red jacket with a spell tag cravat. Has a large scar on his right arm but is otherwise normal.
-Personality: A fatherly figure much like his trainer, who shares his idea of training the up-and-comers. Beowulf is responsible for teaching Daniel and the other Pokemon on Luna's team how to fight properly and etc. He also has a romantic involvement with Linoura, the Weavile that belongs to Mercedes. I guess it helps that they're both Dark types.
-Level: 70
-History: One of Beowulf's oldest Pokemon, due to being his starter. The two of them have been through hell and back due to living in nature together, and he's helped George recover in the time he was grievously injured after the fight with the Pidgeot.
-Name: Sentinel
-Species: Golurk
-Gender: Male
-Appearance: Normal excluding the fact that he wears a couple of black gloves and a white-edged black mantle tied with a black cravat.
-Personality: A nice guy, if a bit blunt. He'd rather be honest instead of lie to his friends. He's confident in his strength, and is more of the "jackass uncle" figure than anything. He also likes to act as the "butler" of the Teracruz Family and often stays outside of his Pokeball.

-History: A Golett that George originally got during a romp through a ruin in Unova.
-Name: Ignacio
-Species: Hawlucha
-Gender: Male
-Appearance: Red parts are blue.
-Personality: Strong and boastful, and an extremely sharp fighter. When he gets himself into a fix, he employs unortodox methods to beat his foe. He has a stark fear of the undead - specifically zombies. Hence why he hates the Memoire Tower and so on.

-History: During a visit to Kalos, George snagged one of his first mons in the area by getting Ignacio.

-Appearance (Normal/Wash/Mower): Glows with a dark red aura instead of a blue one. The Mower form's a darker green while the Wash is unchanged.
-Personality: A hyperactive little guy who plays a lot of pranks. Cheerful with a big heart, he's actually kind of philosophical at times.

-History: The Teracruz Family decided to have a movie marathon at their house one day until their television was interrupted by ghostly activity. The Rotom's pranks fell flat, however, and he failed to scare them seeing as they were essentially the Pokemon version of the Addams Family. George tamed him as part of the trouble and added him as part of the team. He's technically the youngest of the pack, but strong nonetheless.

-Appearance: Shiny which means gold
-Personality: Kind of pacifistic and prefers to support his friends rather than outright fight. He likes to solve his problems by talking them out, and if that doesn't work, he zaps his enemies with a Thunder Wave or straight out beats them up with Play Rough. Likes to hang around Sathala due to being the shiny on Mercedes's team, but she doesn't like him that much.

-History: Lirus was a chance encounter in the wild - George didn't expect to get a shiny Pokemon, let alone Klefki.

-Personality: A boastful giant of a Pokemon, and a very well-mannered one at that. His reckless enthusiasm gets him into more trouble than he would like, however.

-Gender: Female
-Appearance: Normal.
-Personality: An outwardly sweet person who likes to socialize. She has her eyes on Beowulf, but she knows she can't really touch him. Best friends with Linoura, though. She's also a potent healer, loves to dance and has a bond with her "sisters" on Mercedes's team. Doesn't like Baroque very much due to his mild lecher tendencies.

Mercedes is a woman of class and shows it with a well tempered attitude regardless of how much trouble she gets herself into. Regarding her daughter and her husband, she couldn't ask for anything more and holds them as the love of her life. Loves flowers and considers Serra as one of her daughters. History: Originally a Johto-born channeler with a green thumb (aka. she worked over at the berry shop), Mercedes eventually moved over to Unova to see the sights. While there, she came across a man who we know now as George while looking for Unovan flowers for some bouquet ideas. Their relationship didn't get really intimate until George appeared in the hospital one day. Mercedes went to his side as fast as she could, with him pondering existential stuff. It was there they realized they had a lot in common, which was primarily ghosts and the supernatural. When George recovered, they became a tag team that traveled all over until they finally settled in Kalos with a baby girl and as the Battle Charnel's Frontier Brains. She is critical of most things yet loves talking with other "gossipers" such as Reika and Sayura, etc. She feels privileged to be on Mercedes's team and takes it as a sign that she was worthy.

-History: A gift from one of the nurses at the Pokemon Centers, Lucera quickly became one of the primary healers of the team. She also has the task of protecting the others as a sort of emergency mom character.

-Appearance: His eyes are green and his crest is navy colored. Has Pidgeotite on a purple collar wrapped around his neck.
-Personality: A fierce warrior with no remorse. When he has an enemy in his sights, he goes in for the kill. He only respects the people who best him, which is why he holds George in such high regard. He also has respect for how strong of a woman Mercedes is. When it comes to Beowulf, he and Cerveau oftenly butt heads much like Daniel and Ronove. He also holds great shame for tearing out George's eye and never feels like he can make up for it. Considers Ace his best friend and is in love with Gale the Staraptor.

-History: While he once viewed Beowulf and George as talon-shredding practice, Cerveau was immediately beaten and humbled beneath their teamwork (During a storm, no less). History: Serra is a Kalosian girl that's practically lived in the local libraries with her Pokemon due to being orphaned when she was young. She was adopted by Luna's parents and became like a daughter to them, to the point of going with them on their trips to different regions. When George and Mercedes finally settled down in Aurum, Serra met Xerneas in the Drasil Forest - not by chance, but because Xerneas saw the latent power and talent that Serra possessed. Since then, Serra's innate psychic powers were boosted and has served as Xerneas's personal apostle - Xerneas has her close by in case anything happens. -History: One of the first Pokemon Serra ever obtained as a gift from her father. One of the oldest Pokemon in the family, passed down from even Serra's grandfather. He's seen a lot through his life, and has patiently stayed with Serra ever since she was a baby.

-Appearance (Normal): His head blade is painted red. His claws have also been painted red.
-Appearance (Mega): His wings become purple at the tips and his irises turn from white to black.
-Personality: Stalwart and strong-willed, even if he can be a bit of a jack-ass at times. While he's usually bitter most of the time (you know, due to being an Absol that's gone through mulitple trainers before Serra), he believes that people deserve the best out of their lives and will fight to the death on Serra's behalf. To alleviate some of his bitterness, he tells jokes and if he sees someone down, he tries his best to cheer them up. He and Rosa are definitely a couple.

-History: Umbra first came up to Serra due to having lost his previous trainer. While intimidated at the time, Serra felt like she couldn't leave him alone and took him in. Ever since then, Serra holds Umbra as one of the permanent stays of her group and is as close to her as her actual father was.

-Appearance: Normal with a rose attached to a collar around her neck.
-Personality: A somber Espeon that values Serra's education and is as close to her as her actual mother was, even if she feels she could never be the same caliber as her original owner. Rosa is soft spoken but hits incredibly hard if threatened, and has no patience for nonsense. She and Umbra are definitely a couple, and holds Leanan as an intellectual equal.

Unless it involves the living dead, which is a phenomenon he's been afraid of ever since he heard of the concept. He prefers to spar with the others to keep himself and them in shape.

-History: Serra had discovered a lone Volcarona hidden in the depths of the Desert Resort while on a trip with George. When she encountered Apollo, she noticed his strange colors and powers. Apollo is a living relic that has existed for hundreds of years, and Serra is one of the few trainers that has actually found him, let alone go into the depths of the cave.

-History: A Gardevoir that originally roamed Kalos without aim, depressed over the loss of her son. That is, until she encounters Jace as the male counterpart to the Masked Roses. While hesitant at first, Bellamine believed the change of scenery will help get her over her loss.

-Appearance: Has a scar over her right eye and sky-blue cheeks.
-Personality: Is pretty much the opposite of her younger brother Ambes and is a hot-blooded warrior with the determination to weather any threat, no matter how severe. She and Candelabra are fierce rivals due to their similar ideologies and prefers to not let Ambes fight because she doesn't want to get him hurt. While Ivory is fierce with no mercy or tolerance for stupidity, she is also a big-hearted mother figure.

-History: Was one of two Pichu siblings that were raised by Jace. Ivory was the one that Jace himself kept whereas Allen got Ambes, with both of them being the grandchildren of a very old Raichu called Abalon.

| Types, the Flesh Plague and You: A Primer on the Advantages and Disadvantages of Each Type - Spoiler:
Normal, Dark, Bug and Fighting: Just leave them at home. Their primarily physical nature means they'll be absorbed very quickly unless they have another type. The exception is the Porygon line, as they are artificial and do not have flesh to speak of.
Flying: Have the advantage of being harder to catch, as long as they don't land. Good for recon because the Plague can't fly, not so much for beating the Plague back due to its high concentration of Physical moves.
Ground: An interesting case. Technically any Ground-types will be safe beneath the earth so long as they cover their tracks, however, they won't last long under there without breathing. Ground-type attacks also have an interesting trait in that many of its “Physical” attacks do not require bodily contact, a trait it shares with Rock, and so would be safe to use on the Flesh Plague. Certainly a contender.
Rock: Similar to Ground, many of its “physical” attacks require no actual bodily contact. In addition, due to their tendency to bear stony plating or shell they can withdraw into, many Rock-types have the boon of being able to make limited physical contact with the Flesh Plague, as it has a tougher time penetrating the hide. Any extended contact, however, will end the same – with one more body fed to the scourge.
Steel: Shown to be at least slightly effective at combating the Plague due to its origin. However, any Trainer looking to use Steel should take caution, as it is a primarily Physical type, and Steel-types fall into several different categories. Manmade Pokemon, such as Magnemite, do not have flesh and cannot be absorbed by the amalgam. Unplated Steel-types, such as Lucario and Mawile, will suffer the same fate as any other Pokemon without some kind of armor. Plated Steel-types, by far the majority, follow the same rules as Rock-types.
Grass: While primarily Special, not particularly effective or ineffective against the Flesh Plague, with the exception of its unique ability to will the plants trapped underneath it back to the surface with its attacks, which can be effective in isolating and destroying pieces of the Plague.
Dragon: A balance of Special and Physical, its Special attacks have a tendency to be incredibly destructive. Though this effect is dampened by the numerous Fairies that the Flesh Plague has absorbed, it should not be taken for granted in a clutch scenario.
Electric: Notable for its powers of Paralysis. A successful Electric attack may affect a piece of the Flesh Plague as it does a standard living being, inhibiting its ability to move and expand. More effective on Amalgamates, as they are separate from the beast and therefore smaller and more effectively electrocuted.
Fairy: Fairly ineffective at fighting back the greater Flesh Plague, the Fairy type can still be used in battle with an Amalgamate, or to dissuade the tendrils that reach and grasp for the living as the trainer makes a getaway.
Ice: Has been proven somewhat effective in stemming the spread. Sufficient cold freezes the flesh, destroying the cells affected and forcing it to regenerate rather than spread any further.
Poison: In the same vein as Steel, Poison has proven to be moderately effective at combating the Plague due to its origin. Once poisoned, the affected flesh rots away, and although it regenerates rather quickly without additional measures, it is effective at carving a tentative path through 'infected' land.
Psychic: Not effective in a physical sense. The Psychic type does not do Physical damage, except in a very few specific cases. However, a potent enough Psychic-type Pokemon is incredibly effective at dealing with Amalgamates, as it can successfully sever them from the hive mind controlled by the center of the Flesh Plague and render them unable to act, thus enabling them to be easily dispatched.
Water: Once again difficult to catch due to their native environment. The Flesh Plague spreads along the ground, so as long as a Water-type doesn't touch the seafloor, it is that much more difficult to catch. However, the Flesh Plague pollutes the water which it spreads through with free-oozing viscera, making it difficult for sea-Bound Water-types to get close, as it makes it hard for them to breathe. Water-type attacks are not particularly effective or ineffective.
Ghost: Unique in that Ghost-type Pokemon cannot be absorbed. Many are incorporeal, those that are not have no flesh to speak of, instead being made of other materials. Interestingly, the Plague seems to avoid certain Ghost-types outright.
Fire: The most effective for combating the Plague directly. A sufficiently potent Fire-type move sears and chars the flesh, burning it away to ash and cauterizing the wound such that the Plague or Amalgam is significantly debilitated in trying to regenerate it.

Name: Minato Amadei Age: 28 Gender: Male Appearance: A rather tall and tanned gentleman, his dyed white hair tending to fall dramatically in his face. His eyes are similar to an evergreen's leaves, and he wears a necklace with a small nondescript brand at the end of it. His clothes are usually baggy, but he's not afraid to wear deep collar shirts either, as his upper body seems to be rather built. Personality: A very calm and collected individual, it's rare for Minato to instigate any sort of conflict if he can avoid it. That being said, he will do his best to defend himself should the need arise. Sometimes, this extends to his friends as well, often moving into reckless territory with the risks he takes to protect them. History: The most vulnerable target is one without direction or purpose. Inflicted with a bout of amnesia, Minato had lost his way, yet never lost his determination to find both himself and what he needed to do in life. It didn't take long for him to become a trainer, finding Pokemon companions and choosing to spend time with them rather than other humans. After a year or so, vague memories began to pour in, including that of his name and faint flashes of his lost family. Most of that was brushed aside when he heard whispers of a new threat and a team intent on stopping them. Years and years of honing his craft, and getting to know the Pokemon that had stayed with him through thick and thin. Isolation had allowed him to narrowly avoid Team Lindwyrm's grasp, though it didn't stop him from garnering a hatred towards Lance. His technique for catching Pokemon became unparalleled, earning him a whispered nickname of The Captivating Catcher. Around this time is when the Battle of the Underground finally ended, and Arkadia had heard of the force that defeated Lance. Nearly without a second thought, Arkadia went to Neo Team Flare, practically demanding to join their ranks. While his intentions are unknown, he has stayed with them since the end of that battle...
